The company AFOI VOURLOUMI SA is a family business with the main objective of trading and repairing lifting Counterbalance trucks. The company was founded in 1967 by Mr Nikolaos Vourloumis, starting as a workshop-machine shop with the manufacture of hydraulic components for lifting machines, with the assistance of experienced partners in the field. Gradually, the second generation of the Vourloumis family took over and expanded its activities in the trade-repair of lifting machines, taking its current form in 1989 as S.A. in new privately owned facilities currently headquartered in Athens.
The rapid growth of the company until 2009 made it one of the leading companies in its field, possessing today vast experience, financial self-reliance and great technical capabilities, with more than 20,000 customers.
The company is active in the marketing of all categories (electric internal combustion engines) Lifting Forklifts (new or used) and the corresponding spare parts or additional components of all types of all manufacturers in its organized warehouses.
Specifically, the company is an official representative of the Italian company CESAB, a member of the Toyota Material Handling group and of the Chinese company HELI, two companies that specialize in the production and marketing of lifting forklifts. It is also a representative of the Italian company FIORENTINI which produces industrial cleaning machines and the Canadian company SKYJACK which offers self-propelled work platforms.
In addition, it has the possibility of renting the machines as well as undertaking their complete maintenance/repair/reconstruction/upgrade which is completed by its specialized Service at its facilities. At the same time, it has successfully developed an Environmental Technologies department, building its own Underground Waste Bin System, while at the same time researching the European market for collaborations with leading companies in the field.
